My first book is a comprehensive history of association and league football in South Australia. It is structured in three parts: the first on the historical development of the game, the second devoted to brief histories of the 10 league clubs, and the third on leading players and administrators. It was published by the South Australian National Football League and distributed as a privileged book offer by The Advertiser. The hardback book had a print run of 3,000 and sold out in six weeks but despite approaches to the league to get it back into print on three occasions it still awaits a second edition.
