The third book written with Nigel Hart, Australian Eleven analyses the performance and search for balance in the Australian cricket team through eleven matches from 1945 to 1995. The book comments on major issues in cricket including professionalism, throwing, gamesmanship, heroes and the politics of selection. The approach is similar to Test Eleven in its recording of history from snapshot views. First published on disc in 1996, it was republished in a limited edition the following year.
