The St Peter’s Collegians’ Cricket Club commemorated its 8oth anniversary as one of the foundation members of the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association in 2021. I was commissioned to write the club’s history in 2009 and the book rediscovers the lost years before the Second World War, the combining with Prince Alfred Old Collegians for five seasons during that conflict, and the gradual development of five sides in the 1980s and 1990s. It follows individual players’ fortunes up and down the grades and celebrates premiership successes wherever they fall.
