I cannot remember how, why or when I acquired the 29 photographs that appear in this booklet but they were the prime motivation for publication. Waste not. Warwick Armstrong’s 1921 side which toured England is one of Australia’s four greatest touring sides along with those led by Joe Darling (1902), Don Bradman (1948) and Steve Waugh (2001). The team played 39 matches, all but five of them first-class, and lost only two near the end of the tour.
