With 28 premierships the Norwood Football Club has a grand history in league football in South Australia. Meticulously researched by Michael Coligan and elegantly designed, 1878: Norwood Football Club’s First Year recounts the fabulous story of a triumphant march to a first title against a background of fierce off-field disputes. My task involved taking 125,000 words of raw material and crafting it into around 25,000 words of text, a procedure which took around three weeks. This is my second football book and comes thirty years after my first.
