and I liked that self-assurance
I used to consider myself
a movie buff once I said
but that was around 1990
(and it was now 2010)
I sorta stopped going to the movies
around the mid-90s I said
and you said
you haven’t missed much
and I took that as an affirmation
for my point of view
and I kinda liked that
and I kinda liked you
